We are looking for a passionate and experienced Group Sourcing and Sustainability Manager to join a dynamic team at Brandbank.

This role is crucial in overseeing and managing the procurement of goods and services across the Group, while ensuring that our sourcing practices are sustainable, compliant, and socially responsible.

Partnering closely with the leadership team, you will play a pivotal role in achieving Brandbank’s vision of being a responsible retailer through the development and maintenance of our sustainability strategy and targets.

**THE ROLE**:

- Manage the procurement process, including the strategic selection and deselection of suppliers and maintain the company’s master supplier database.
- Rationalise and streamline the supplier database periodically in partnership with brands.
- Analyse supplier metrics to shape forward brand sourcing strategies that deliver competitive costs.
- Lead the development and evolution of Brandbank’s sustainability strategy, working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders, including compliance to current legislation and developing the roadmap for compliance to future legislation.
- Oversee the onboarding of suppliers to the Group’s code of conduct and ensure compliance with standards across the Group.
- Develop and implement a Group Supplier Social Compliance Strategy, ensuring continuous improvement.
- Manage, evolve and improve Brandbank’s quality standards and procedures, implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Monitor and manage product safety compliance, working closely with suppliers and internal teams to manage risk whilst continually reviewing & improving processes.
- Mentor teams within the businesses via leading by example, promoting creative problem solving, coaching teams to navigate difficult situations.
- Capacity building each brand teams knowledge, awareness and understanding enabling brand growth and decision-making capacity.
- On-site role 5-days per week, based in our St Kilda Road offices.

**THE IDEAL CANDIDATE**:

- Ability to listen objectively and with empathy; build rapport with teams; manage a range of situations with integrity, humility and confidence.
- 10+ years’ experience in managing compliance, quality systems, and large-scale projects.
- Tertiary qualification in Textile/Garment, Retail Management, Business, Legal, or Science-related fields.
- Extensive experience in sustainability leadership, preferably within a multi-brand fashion retail or product manufacturing environment.
- Proven ability to develop and implement strategic plans, with strong analytical and reporting skills.
- Deep knowledge of sustainability issues, ethical compliance auditing, and quality assessment.
- Strong communication, relationship management, and stakeholder influencing skills.
- Experience in change management and leading diverse teams.
