Group Manager Strategic Procurement and Sourcing

**About you**:
As our new Group Manager Strategic Sourcing - Facilities, you own and drive value through the strategy you develop and the quality of relationships you build internally and externally. You are known for your exceptional communication and negotiation skills and when this is teamed with your natural curiosity, analytic ability and resin expertise you create an exceptionally balanced commercial approach to achieving positive outcomes to the benefit of all stakeholders. Your trademark is your ability to deliver results in total alignment to organisational strategy in the most timely and effective way.
You are a tertiary qualified, seasoned commercial professional with proven experience in procurement. Thriving in diverse, fast-moving business environments you have great energy and are ideally familiar with manufacturing and industrial environments.

**Your new role**:
As part of the wider Procurement and Strategic Sourcing team you will have the support of the General Manager Procurement and will be solely responsible for the Facilities category globally. You will be responsible for the assigned spend categories through category management, supplier relationship management and sourcing activities. Your role exists to implement and drive the Pact Procurement strategy which aligns to the overall Pact Strategic Agenda including delivery of value to the business.
**Your remit including but not limited to**:

- Support Pact sourcing activities and develop procurement plans.
- Understand the spending profile and suppliers applicable to the projects.
- Work closely with key site and COE stakeholders in optimising sourcing and contracting outcomes.
- Identify emerging technologies and suppliers to support Pact’s operations.
- Execute strategic sourcing projects with focus on value to the business in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Support provision of supply expertise and services to deliver projects where capital expenditure is approved.
- Development and implement group wide supply model focused on leveraging strategic and commercial value
- Establish preferred long-term contracts with agreed T&Cs and payment terms with OEM suppliers,
- Quantification and identification of commercial benefits for supply requirements
- Provision of contract planning expertise
- Provide support and advice to finance as required
- Contribute to delivery of sustainable, safe, ethical sourcing practices
