**About the role**

**This position is classified at the OPS1 level; however, appointment at the OPS2 level may be considered based on the applicant’s qualifications, skills, and relevant experience.**
- Contribute to effective and efficient laboratory services by sorting and accessioning specimens according to set protocols, providing accurate data entry, assisting with preparatory duties, storage and transport of specimens.
- The Operational Services Officer is required to manage internal and external customer enquiries effectively and professionally.

You are a reliable and energetic professional with a strong focus on accuracy, confidentiality, and quality service. With excellent communication and computer skills, you thrive in high-demand environments and enjoy working collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Proven ability to provide accurate, high-quality work with excellent customer service in fast-paced clinical or pathology settings.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a team-oriented and proactive approach to service delivery.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritise tasks, manage workload efficiently, and maintain confidentiality and infection control standards.
- Certificate III/IV in Pathology Specimen Collection and/or relevant healthcare experience highly regarded.
