This is a full time, permanent position currently based in Doncaster.

**About the role**

Reporting to the Senior Manager Peer and Pastoral Care, the primary objective of this role is to develop and coordinate education and training programs for the Peer Support Program. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Conduct training needs analysis and evaluate education for the Peer Support Program.
- Develop training material, workshops and information sessions for wellbeing and support programs as required and ensure consistency with planning timeframes, budget, resources and resource hours, and distribute information in a timely manner.
- Implement E-learning design options and learning management systems for online and face to face learning for peer support and pastoral care.
- Implement strategies to further develop and support/mentor the Peer Support volunteer network including raising awareness and engagement across the state.
- Evaluate learning initiatives systematically to capture and share learning and ensure continuous improvement and identify program outcomes.

**About you**

To be considered for this position you will possess:

- Tertiary qualification in relevant related discipline (eg, Cert 4 Training & Assessment).
- Postgraduate degree or relevant industry certification with high level relevant experience or an equivalent combination of training and experience in emergency services or provision of wellbeing/peer support or project management.
- Significant experience and high-level skills in group facilitation
- Strong ability to build corporate and operational relationships to promote learning & development concepts and improve wellbeing to support educational frameworks in Peer Support and Pastoral Care
- Demonstrated experience in the development of foundational learning programs, cultural change programs and programs that support Peer Support and other wellbeing programs.
- Required to be available outside of ordinary working hours to provide advice, support or authoritative direction to other employees or managers involved in dealing with emergency or time critical incidents or issues (**CAA1**)
- Required to possess a current Victorian Driver Licence.

This position is graded an **AV5** under the Ambulance Victoria (Management and Administrative Staff) Enterprise Agreement.
