**About Beacon Lighting Commercial**

This is an exciting time to join our Commercial Division at Beacon Lighting Commercial We've been in the market for over three decades and we continue to experience growth and expansion of the business due to our unrivalled success.

With a presence across five strategic locations in Australia, we specialise in project and specification lighting in various commercial sites including apartments, hotels and aged care facilities. We are exclusive distributors of GE Lamps and Fixtures in AUS/NZ as well as our Beacon branded products, which means we are able to provide our clients with the best lighting solutions.

**The Role**

Reporting to the National Sales Manager, the purpose of this role is to:

- Deliver sales and profit results through development of commercial business
- Understand the market and opportunities, establish and maintain sound business relationships with Commercial clients, and develop and implement proposals/ quotes/trade agreements that meet customer and business needs

**Your key responsibilities will include**:

- Monitor overall customer satisfaction for your client group
- Drive and manage sales opportunities to deliver budgets and GP margins
- Provide regular feedback on market trends and customer liaison
- Seek opportunities to improve the service experience of the customer
- Be a product expert providing feedback to the division on client needs and product market trends
- Build positive and productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders ensuring effective communication channels are maintained
- Attend meetings, seminars and presentations on behalf of your client group that will benefit the development of the business

**About You**

To be successful in this role you will demonstrate:

- At least 2 years’ experience in a similar role with building, lighting and electrical industry knowledge
- Proven sales and negotiation skills ideally in a trade associate business
- Excellent communication and problem solving abilities
- High levels of accuracy and attention to detail
- Effective ability to gain the support and co-operation of others to deliver results
