**Your new role**

We are excited to be able to offer an opportunity for new Rostering professionals to join our friendly coordination team. This opportunity is now available due to a recent internal promotion and also through departmental growth due to strong demand for our specialist services. As a result, we are now looking for full-time, ongoing Rostering Officers to join our welcoming team.

Reporting to the Rostering and Compliance Manager, you will be responsible for supporting Community Support and Inclusion (CSI) staff in the preparation and maintenance of well-balanced and accurate staff rosters within the needed timeframes. The role is a key communication point within the CSI Coordination team and is central to delivering our service excellence. The role involves working closely with support staff teams, group facilitators, and coordination staff, in addition to payroll and finance teams.

Reporting to the Rostering and Compliance Manager, you will primarily be responsible for preparing and maintaining well-balanced and accurate staff rosters in a timely manner.

Specifically, the role will:

- Support the Coordination team with proactive and reactive staffing and capacity planning
- Ensure staff rosters are well planned, communicated and balanced, giving consideration to service delivery needs as well as staff availability
- Contribute to recruitment with advice, feedback and engage within recruitment processes
- Be a primary point of contact with key stakeholders of support staff, clients and other relevant organisational staff
- Bring creativity to rostering solutions in an environment with mínimal rostering outsourcing
- Facilitate the timely submission/verification of staff timesheets consistent with approved rosters
- Providing on-call support as rostered
- Ensure timely and accurate funding arrangements within rosters

The role will require you to be self-directed and able to work within a very supportive team in a fast-paced environment in meeting our operational deadlines. You will bring your skills, passion and experience in working with and alongside other professionals in the proactive planning, development and reactive responses to program, client and/or staff rostering needs.

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Relevant experience to undertake the range of activities required
- Experience working with a range of stakeholders to deliver effective and timely administration services in which teamwork is paramount
- Experience in the use of computers and relevant software (i.e., MS Word, MS Teams, Excel, Outlook, scheduling system)
- Experience with rostering or scheduling services and use of an electronic rostering system would be highly regarded, able to support on-call support
- Understanding of complex positive behaviour support services, group and staff ratio programming, client needs and related rostering needs (desirable)
- Experience in the profit-for-purpose sector and an understanding of disability services
