My client is a leading distribution company with a strong presence in the Australian market. They are looking for an experienced Logistics Manager to join their team in Sydney and manage their logistics operations.

As a Logistics Manager, you will be responsible for managing my client's logistics operations in Sydney. You will lead a team of up to 30 direct reports and ensure that their logistics operations run smoothly and efficiently.

**Your key responsibilities will include**:

- Developing and implementing logistics strategies to optimize their supply chain
- Ensuring timely delivery of products to customers
- Managing and optimizing their sea freight and road freight operations
- Supervising their warehousing and storage operations
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, particularly in relation to dangerous goods handling and chemicals industry experience
- Providing leadership and guidance to the logistics team

**Requirements**:

- Extensive understanding and experience of sea freight operations
- In-depth experience of road freight market in Australia
- Warehousing and storage experience
- Supervision experience
- Chemicals industry experience
- Dangerous Goods handling experience
