Logistics Manager – Lead Safe, Smart, and Sustainable Service Delivery in a Purpose-Driven Business

What You’ll Do

Take ownership of day-to-day branch logistics and lead a team of Service Technician Drivers to deliver excellent customer outcomes while upholding the highest standards of safety, compliance, and service.

Manage the full driver lifecycle—recruitment, onboarding, training, performance, engagement, and safety

Lead daily communications including toolbox meetings, safety briefings, and engagement initiatives

Oversee fleet operations (maintenance, compliance, roadworthiness, presentation, and utilisation)

Monitor driver compliance including licensing, fitness for duty, and service standards

Use logistics software (Verizon, CE) to build and optimise delivery routes and ensure system health

Administer driver payroll, timesheets (company, owner, agency), and leave requests accurately

Oversee the Logistics Hub, ensuring work is finalised correctly and promptly

Collaborate with Sales, Operations, Customer Service, and IT to resolve issues and improve service delivery

Maintain inventory (e.g., sharps containers) and generate purchase orders for required services

Represent Med-X with professionalism in all customer and supplier interactions

Lead by example in maintaining a safe, clean, and professional working environment

Actively participate in business meetings, training sessions, and cross-functional support

What You Bring

You’re a natural leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and knows how to get the best out of people, systems, and processes.

5+ years’ experience in logistics, transport, or fleet management—preferably in a service-based industry

Demonstrated success in leading driver or transport teams

Experience using logistics routing and fleet management systems

Strong knowledge of transport compliance, fleet maintenance, and safety best practices

Budget management experience and ability to analyse cost drivers

Relevant qualifications in logistics, operations, or business (preferred)
