EL2 Product Owner / Digital Division / Contract Role

Hays in Geelong are currently partnered with a large federal government organisation located in Geelong CBD, Victoria.

We are seeking to appoint an EL2 Digital Product Owner to join organisation’s Digital team for an initial 12-month contract role with a potential extension.

**Your new role**

In this role, you will be reporting to EL2 - Digital Director and will be responsible for develops and improves digital solutions to enhance the experience and objectives of Participants. You will also be responsible for effective management of plans through digital platforms that interact with the Agency and relevant providers.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Leading a diverse team in designing, planning, developing, and delivering digital functions across the participant portal and participant app.
- Working across key business areas designing, developing, and implementing digital platform changes efficiently to improve the Participant experience.
- Building and managing collaborative relationships with NDIA workgroups, supporting effective communications and agile ways of working.
- Working with stakeholders, defining, and mapping out a balanced program of changes that reflect the Agency’s priorities and set expectations that aligns to the branch’s objectives.
- Facilitating participant testing and consultation, ensuring accessibility requirements are considered for all proposed changes.
- Working with Salesforce and SAP technical specialists to lead improvements to the efficiency, effectiveness, robustness, and usability of the current digital products
- Other duties as and when required.

**What you'll need to succeed**

To be considered for this role, you will have:

- Proven previous experience in a Digital transformation program in leadership capacity.
- Relevant qualification/ certification in IT / Business Analysis / Agile / Scrum etc
- Experience in working with multi-disciplinary teams across varied skillsets on large projects
- Strong exposure working in Salesforce / SAP / Jira and Confluence.
- Stakeholder management experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A pro-active personality, with a can-do attitude
- Preferable prior knowledge and experience in disability and/or public sector.
- Due to the nature of our client, for this role you **MUST** be an Australian Citizen
