Job Expectations

A fantastic opportunity at nbn, Australia’s largest infrastructure project, as the Field Operations Site Coordinator, reporting to the Region Operations Manager, where you will be responsible for providing administrative & logístical support to the Field Operations team.

The Field Services group within nbn undertakes Network and Service field tasks across all technologies both inside plant, outside plant up to and including customer premises. It does this work through a mix of internal (IWF) and external (SDP) workforces.

A bit about your role

In your new role as the Field Operations Site Coordinator, you will work with internal and external stakeholders to provide support and govern specific team aspects.

You will be responsible for fostering a safety-first mindset to ensure that all HSE notifications are delivered to all field staff promptly and actions are followed up.

You will also be responsible for managing calibration, repairs, and replacement of test equipment on behalf of the team to ensure all staff remain productive in the field.

You will oversee receipting of orders, tracking, and assigning material that transitions through the nbn sites to facilitate efficiency for the field teams.

You will maintain and use control tool & consumable holdings, ensuring a cost-disciplined focus on stock holdings.

You will maintain integrity and be responsible for site storage, material movement and cleanliness of warehouse, technical rooms and provide safe passage throughout entire warehouse and training area.

You will also be required to assist in Fleet movements and to do small project coordination and other administrative work.

You’ll be a member of a collaborative team, where you will contribute to, positively support and be part of a high-performance team culture to successfully deliver on the nbn and team purpose, strategy, and stakeholder engagement initiatives.

A bit about you

To be successful in this role, you will have relevant experience working with cross functional teams and strong communication skills as this role will require you to work closely with nbn groups, relevant external

contractors/suppliers and third parties to provide a consistent engagement point for the Field Operations team.

You are required to have proven stakeholder management skills as well as good organisational capabilities and have a high degree of pride in site cleanliness and maintenance.

Moreover, you will have demonstrated ability to work with tight deadlines with strong problem-solving ability.
