This established Adelaide based, privately owned consultancy continues to flourish. With a focus on people and relationships, they empower their staff and build long term partnerships with their clients and business partners. Their customers, people, and practical delivery focus, results in repeat work. In particular their defence portfolio continues to grow and has created an opportunity for a Design Manager to co-ordinate and oversee multi-disciplined design packages.

As lead designer this position would work collaboratively with Architects, Interior Designers, Services Engineers, and all specialist design consultancy firms. Working on ongoing building and facility upgrades in the $5m-$50m project scope; work would typically include fit outs and extensions to defence; operational, technical, industrial, and associated office buildings. With a design engineering or architectural background, you will have led multi-disciplined defence projects and be looking to progress your career as a multi-disciplined consultancy design manager.

Working in a collaborative, empowering culture you will have the opportunity to develop your experience and technical skills in design management. This exciting secure and ongoing position would suit either an established design manager or an engineer or architect looking to take a step up in responsibility. You will be driven and energised by bringing together multi-disciplined teams, providing practical big picture design input, and delivering outstanding project outcomes for your clients. Salary and benefits will be flexible and in keeping with your experience and aspirations. This position could fast track into a Regional Defence lead position.
