Opportunity for two Product Design Team Leads in Adelaide or Melbourne for a leading Defence Organisation

**Your new role**
The Product Design Team Lead provides leadership and activity management of a team of Systems Engineers. The role also includes a significant component of stakeholder coordination, with other disciplines including: Project Engineering; CMS Software / Integration teams; CMS Hardware teams; and, speciality engineering (Safety, Security and ILS).

The Systems Engineers in the Product Design Teams are responsible for CMS requirements, design and formal acceptance.

**What you'll need to succeed**
It is Essential that you have:

- Tertiary qualifications in engineering or related technical discipline
- Demonstrated ability to work with multi-discipline teams and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders Experience in producing and reviewing technical documentation
- Eligible for NV1 Security Clearance

It is Desirable that you have:

- Experience in leadership of engineering teams
- Experience in Naval: o Combat Management Systems
- Combat Systems
- Experience in conducting Systems Engineering lifecycle reviews, including:

- System Requirements Reviews
- System Functional Reviews
- Preliminary Design Reviews
- Detailed Design Reviews
- Test Readiness Reviews
- Experience or an understanding of engineering in a Defence Regulatory environment, or equivalent
- Awareness of commercial and military standards utilised in the development of maritime C4ISR systems
- Demonstrated ability to support technical reviews, planning, estimation and change control engineering tasks
