**SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGER ANZ**:
Our team in **Melbourne** currently has an opening for a **Supply Chain Manager ANZ**
**YOUR ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES**:
Lead and direct the Supply Chain Team (Planning/Purchasing/Warehouse & Distribution) for ANZ in line with the Global/Asia Pacific Supply Chain strategy
Responsible for driving the development of the ANZ supply chain strategy and ensuring the efficient operations of all supply chain functions - both strategic and operational - for ANZ, by directing and implementing assets and processes within the Supply Chain function to achieve the short and long term financial and operating objectives of Brenntag ANZ ensuring optimal service levels to customers and suppliers
**Strategy and Functional Management**
- Develop, communicate and execute the Supply Chain strategy for ANZ in close collaboration with Supply Chain Global/Asia Pacific and ANZ Commercial team.
- Collaborating with Commercial, Finance and QSHE, develop procedures and processes that allow for optimal service levels to customers and suppliers
**Planning, Purchasing and Inwards Logistics**
- Own the Supply Chain processes including Planning, Purchasing, Shipping, Inventory Control, Warehousing, Distribution and Logistics for packaged and bulk products
- Own and improve ANZs Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process to optimise customer service levels and working capital using inventory control and forecasting best practice
- Purchasing and Inbound Logistics - improve efficiencies and cost structure for ordering and importation of products
- Recommend and manage stock levels, including safety stocks, lead times, delivery optimisation and distribution requirements planning (DRP) to ensure inventory is maintained at the optimum levels in the optimum locations
- Implement and optimise Brenntag’s strategic sourcing strategy within the ANZ business
- Optimise and maintain information flow on shipments and incoming goods to ensure customers always have up-to-date information available
**Warehousing & Local Logistics**
- Lead and communicate the development of Warehousing & Delivery processes from arrival of goods into the warehouses to the delivery to customers
- Enhance, identify and invest in value added services including physical and virtual receiving, checking, storing, sampling, toll manufacturing (repackaging, mixing and blending), picking, staging, inspecting, loading, routing, and delivery to support Commercial Customer Strategies
- Manage and maintain efficient, cost effective, professional, on time deliveries to customer base
- Drive the optimization of Brenntag warehouse and logistics operations, management of existing 3PL arrangements and assess current and future Warehousing and logistics needs, whether 3PL or insourced.
- Optimization and management of Warehousing Contracts (Local and International) including undertaking negotiations as required >> drive evolution/partnership
**Inventory Control**
- Ensure inventory control is maintained including cycle counts and reconciliations, SLOB stock process, disposals, etc
**Adblue**
- Ensure AdBlue bulk deliveries and reconciliation process are optimised ongoing, all aspects of the delivery process are controlled, including scheduling, equipment, maintenance, logistics, etc
**YOUR PROFILE**:
- Tertiary qualified in relevant field (Supply Chain/ Operations / Logistics Management)
- Minimum 8 years’ experience in Supply Chain or related field on a national / trans-tasman scale
- Minimum 10 years’ experience managing large teams within Supply Chain
- Prior experience in establishing insourced/outsourced Warehousing
- Working knowledge and experience in distribution and/or logstics / freight forwarding essential
- Evidenced ability to lead change, improve engagement and deliver results
- Working knowledge and experience in the chemical industry advantageous
- Working knowledge and experience of reputable ERP systems including in-depth understanding of purchasing/planning/logistics and warehousing systems
