Due to continued growth Facto is looking to bring in a Quality Assurance practice lead to help manage, grow and build frameworks for a high-performing QA team. Key areas of responsibility will include:
The principle tasks of this role include but are not limited to the following:

- Part of the Facto leadership team and help set the overall strategy of the business.
- Responsible for enhancing and improving the Facto QA practice that will help our team, at all levels, to continually improve and develop and deliver results for our clients.
- Consult and work onsite, with clients and our teams, on key projects.
- Attend Pre-Sales meetings, define project visions and help build & deliver on QA strategy.
- Interview and develop new and existing consultants including graduates.
- Help to drive a collaborative, supportive, and open communication culture.
- Architecting solutions across Automation & CI/CD

The role requires the following experience & qualifications:

- Strong interpersonal skills with a good ability to communicate comfortably with customers (both technical and non-technical)
- Strong experience with test automation and frameworks
- Happy to be hands-on as well as develop and train new team members.
- Have experience across a range of technologies such as Java, JavaScript, Microservices,.NET, Containers etc
- Architect technical solutions for Test Automation, Observability, DevOps (CI/CD) at scale
- Comfortable sitting across multiple teams ensuring day-to-day delivery as well as managing and driving outcomes across concurrent projects.
- Stakeholders’ management (including non-technical), and able to communicate a technical vision in a pre-sales setting, demonstrating outcomes through dashboards and data visibility.
- Strong interest in technology and market trends

This role will be based in Sydney and require 3-4 days in the office as a minimum.
