**Your why**

Your purpose is to lead the quality assurance function and team to deliver assurance reviews and insights, to enable great customer and compliance outcomes. The position is responsible for the development and ongoing management of quality assurance function, including lending assurance reviews, lending banker reviews and contact centre agent reviews. This role reports to the Head of Specialist Operations.

**How you will spend your time**
- Develop and imbed the function and supporting operating rhythm
- Coach, mentor and supervise team members to ensure optimum execution of assurance activities, effective workload management and their ongoing development
- Provide regular reporting and insights to business leaders, Executives and other key stakeholders to enable the improvement of compliance outcomes
- Identify and own opportunities to optimise and improve assurance procedures, particularly leveraging technology and automation
- Identify, escalate and manage possible systemic issues
- Identify and drive opportunities to improve business performance and the control environment
- Stay across relevant regulatory, policy and process changes to ensure assurance checklists and procedures remain accurate

**What you will bring**
- Demonstrated Experience leading a quality assurance function within the financial services industry
- Solid understanding of the relevant regulatory environment, particularly in relation to lending
- Experience leading and coaching high-performing teams
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proven analytical, decision making and influencing skills
