**About the role**
You will be responsible for business performance of Repairable Item Management (RIM) and Spares Inventory Management (SIM) Management for the existing Defence High Frequency Communications System (DHFCS) and support the implementation and sustainment of the upgraded Enhanced Defence High Frequency Communications System (EDHFCS).
Key responsibilities will also include:
- Assist the Support Services Manager to establish the sustainment capability to deliver the JP9101 Program from Operative Date (OD).
- Managing and executing Repairable Item and Spares Inventory Management activities in IFS to ensure Key Performance Indicators and System Health Indicators are achieved.
- Coordinate and manage transfer of assets from Node and Network Monitoring Facilities to the L3 Repair facility and OEM repair facilities.
- Assisting the maintenance and supply teams to ensure that service continuity is provided in line with contracted Service Level Agreements and Key Performance Indicators.
- Manage external OEM supplier repair orders ensuring contract obligations are met on scope, price, and repair turnaround times.
- Investigating and addressing any discrepancies in inventory holdings
- Limited project control tasks such as internal and external reporting preparation and input to KPI and SHI requirements.
- Assisting in stocktakes of nodes as required in accordance with DEFLOGMAN requirements to effectively monitor progress and compliance of all Contractor Managed Commonwealth Assets (CMCA).
- Tracking and Asset management of all GFX and Babcock owned assets.
**About you**
You will thrive working within a complex forward-thinking environment and ideally possess:
- You will have at least five years defence forces or defence industry experience in a small project team, business or engineering management environment;
- Experience with ADF Warehouse and Distribution Service (W&DS) processes including equipment cataloguing/codification and MILIS Warehousing is highly regarded
- Demonstrated knowledge of Defence Inventory Management;
- Demonstrated experience in procurement
