**The Organisation**

Community Support Incorporated (CSI) has been a leading provider of home care services in the disability and aged care sectors, as well as offering a support coordination service, across South Australia since 1991.

**The Role**

Palliative care is care that supports people who are at the end of life, e.g. people with a terminal illness. Palliative care identifies and treats symptoms associated with end-of-life care which may be physical, emotional, or social. CSI is looking for qualified and experienced support workers who can be trained to offer palliative care and who are empathetic, caring, compassionate, and kind individuals who can transition to a palliative care role.
- Provide emotional, physical and personal support.
- Provide assistance with daily living.

**Key Experience Required for the role**
- Passion for helping and supporting those who are living with a disability or terminal illness
- Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent (Disability, Aged Care, Mental Health)
- Current DHS Child-Related or Disability Clearance and Working With Children Check
- Current valid Police Check (within the last 6 months)
- Current First Aid Certificate
- Unrestricted Drivers' Licence and roadworthy-ensured vehicle if transporting clients
