**College of Law Student/Paralegal Position**

Loukas Law is an energetic boutique family law firm based in West Perth that works with passion and strength. The team is highly successful and is always looking for ways to improve and excel. You will be joining a close-knit team, which thrives on delivering for their clients, balancing a busy workload and working to deadlines.

This position will report to the Managing Director and provide both paralegal and administrative support to a team of lawyers. It will also be necessary from time to time to provide support to other administrative sections.

It is essential that you have a flexible approach to your duties and are well organised, as your position will be varied and busy.

To be considered for this position, it is essential that you also:

- Have the ability to cope with pressure, responsibility, manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines;
- Have a high attention to detail;
- Are self-motivated and possess initiative;
- Are capable of working both autonomously and as part of a team;
- Have knowledge of Microsoft programmes including Word and Excel and excellent typing skills; and
- Have excellent telephone manner and are confident in dealing directly with our clients and service providers.

Your daily duties will consist of providing legal and administrative support, including but not limited to:

- Diary management;
- File maintenance and management;
- Maintenance of correspondence files and briefs;
- Paralegal tasks including summarising evidence, drafting, amending and formatting various documents;
- High level interactions with current and potential clients, barristers, and service providers;
- Assist in the collation of supporting documents/evidence for submissions and briefs;
- Attend meetings and undertake note taking, as required;
- Outside clerking, if required; and
- Carry out research tasks, as required.
