We’re proud to be the leaders in responsible gambling in our industry, not just locally, but globally. **About the Role** Reporting to the Head of Technology, you will lead a cross functional Feature Team of 8 to 10 people to ensure efficient and sustainable delivery of customer outcomes. You will play an instrumental role on growing individuals, building team dynamics, and uplifting agile practices. Day to day you will: - Set objectives with the team consistent with the performance framework which promote individual, team and organisational outcomes - Ensure team members receive regular feedback via 1:1s and other conversations - Understand the learning objectives of the team and ensure needs are met - Manage Backlogs to ensure alignment with customer outcome and provide delivery insight (estimates & progress, risks/issues, dependencies, etc.) - Provide ongoing insight to stakeholders on feature progress and/or team health - Organise and facilitate all key scrum ceremonies, including feature inception, daily stand-up meetings, reviews, retrospectives, sprint and release planning demos and other scrum related ceremonies - Identify and remove impediments, prevent distractions that interfere with the ability of the team to deliver the sprint goal - Continuous improvement both with the feature team, and contributing to broader delivery improvements as a member of the "delivery" practice - Work with members of the Technology community and competency groups to contribute to the growth and development of Sportsbet’s delivery practices **About You** If you have experience with some of the following (or a strong desire to learn), we’d love to hear from you: - Highly motivated and delivery focused thought leader - Change resilience e.g. can bounce back quickly from change and setbacks and create a focus and lead the team to pivot - Proven ability to work with ambiguity e.g. can facilitate change with limited certainty and move the team toward an outcome - Demonstrated ability to interact positively and constructively with internal stakeholders, partners, and team members - Ability to successfully manage multiple streams of work in a high-pressure environment - Agile mindset with a focus on value driven iterative solutions - Proficient in collaboration and reporting tools Exposure to following frameworks beneficial: - Java frameworks such as Spring Boot, and Hibernate - Basic AWS concepts and services such as VPC, EC2, ECS, Cloud formation, RDS, etc. and Serverless architecture e.g., Lambda - Microservice based architecture and event-driven architecture - Understanding of CI/CD and relevant tools and technologies such as Docker, Jenkins, Ansible Script **Why You’ll Love Working Here** - **Internal Women in Technology Community**: Be part of a network that champions women in tech and supports professional growth - **AWS Training and Membership**: Access to training and resources to deepen your AWS expertise and keep up with the latest cloud technologies - **Annual Tech Conferences**: Attend industry-leading tech conferences and events to stay at the forefront of innovation - **Hack Days**: Participate in our hack days, where creativity and collaboration lead to exciting new ideas and projects - **25 days annual leave** (plus flexible working options) - **$1050 work-from-home allowance**: - **Career development programs** and learning opportunities - **Onsite concierge services**, free meals, and social events - **Generous parental leave** and return-to-work benefits **What’s the Green Tick Feeling?** Well, it’s different for everyone, yet unites us all.
