Responsibilities
- Perform structural analysis and design of residential buildings (timber, steel, and concrete/masonry structures)
- Develop high-quality structural designs and documentation across residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments
- Conduct site inspections and assessments as required
- Collaborate with architects and builders to deliver practical solutions
- Ensure compliance with local building codes and standards
- Assist in project management tasks, including scheduling and budgeting
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering
- 3–5 years of local experience in structural engineering, with a focus on residential and commercial projects (civil design experience is a bonus)
- Proficiency in structural analysis/design software (e.g., Structural Toolkit, SpaceGass, RAPT, RAMConcept, ETABS; Revit experience is a plus)
- Strong knowledge of local building codes and standards
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
