For more than 25 years Vanguard Australia has been supporting individual investors, financial advisers, and superannuation members to achieve their long-term financial goals. **Our Team & Opportunity** The past 3 years have seen significant transformation for Vanguard Australia in business strategy and in the discipline of Marketing. A strategy of growth is seeing Vanguard Australia expand its offer across both the Intermediary (B2B) and the Direct to Investor (B2C) strategies in the business. Our Personal Investor platform was launched in 2020 and in 2022 Vanguard launched into Superannuation. As part of this transformation, Vanguard has also been establishing their strategic approach to brand, creative and media buying. This is an exciting time to be part of the business and we are now looking for a paid media-loving Channel Marketing Manager to support Enterprise Advertising strategy, paid media performance and delivery and help us scale, elevate and support our broader business growth. This role will be part of our Brand & Design Team and will play an integral role shaping the future state of our business **.** **Who you are and what you will do**: - This role will support across Paid Media both above-the-line and below-the-line (focus on digital marketing, SEM and Social). - You thrive on marketing and media performance, always with a focus on performance, optimisation and delivering results. - Data-driven, you can review current media measurement (including data, reports, process and tools), articulate impact on KPIs and business objectives and provide strategic recommendations for improvement. - Working cross-functionally and with our media agency, you will support the delivery of an Enterprise Paid Media Strategy including keeping an eye on media trends and insights. - Collaborate with the wider Vanguard Marketing, Insights and Analytics team and our media agency to help answer business questions or needs relating to paid media, including identifying and using various data sources needed to do this. - You know how to get the best out of both creative and media and are able to brief in campaigns and support campaign management through to delivery. - You understand digital journeys and the importance of website and landing page as part of it to drive performance. - Sitting as part of the Brand & Design team who are also responsible for social media, you may be called about to set up and run paid social advertising campaigns - so ideally you are also familiar with running campaigns on Meta, Linkdedin, Twitter, Reddit and other social platform advertising. **What we are looking for** - 5+ years' experience in a marketing or paid media role - both client side or agency side experience is welcome - Solid understanding of key media channels - TV, OOH, Digital video, radio/audio, SEM, Display, Addressable channels and social channels (Facebook, Instagram, Linkedin, Twitter, Reddit etc) - Experience in managing social & digital advertising, media planning and ad optimisation. - Experience with campaign management (both brand awareness and through the funnel) including the end-to-end creative development process and understanding how media works in with creative would be beneficial. - Proven ability to use data & insights to inform business decisions and shape media planning - Strong experience in managing budgets and targets to deliver ROI. - Broad knowledge of the financial services industry particularly Wealth Management would be highly regarded **Inclusion Statement** Vanguard's continued commitment to diversity and inclusion is firmly rooted in our culture.
