**About the Role**

Are you the dynamic and detailed orientated professional purchasing officer with a passion for supply chain we are seeking to join the team at our support office in Kewdale?

**Reporting to the Supply Chain Coordinator, your key responsibilities will include but not limited to**:

- Collaboration with various departments to understand their procurement needs and develop effective supply strategies.
- Review and monitor stock levels to ensure branch site requirements meet business demand and is within the goals and targets defined by the supply chain management.
- Source, negotiate, and procure goods and services in a cost-effective and timely manner.
- Execute purchase orders and transfers.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure quality and reliability.

**To be successful at this role you will need to demonstrate the following**:

- Proven experience of at least 2 years as a Purchasing Officer in a similar role.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast pace hands on team environment.
- Familiarity with procurement software and proficient use Microsoft office tools.
- Knowledge of market trends and supplier management best practices.
