**About the Opportunity**: This is your opportunity to provide expert advice and support on proactive and reactive stakeholder communications, media issues, events, projects and activities within the Infrastructure Services Division and provide the Office of the Deputy Director-General efficient communications and stakeholder support.
- We need an exceptional comm's professional who can work within tight timeframes and with multiple stakeholders to help us shape the community's understanding of the importance of great infrastructure and how it impacts educational outcomes.
- Working within the Office of the Deputy Director-General, Infrastructure Services Division (ISD), you will take information and reframe it so it's easily understood - promoting the critical work of ISD.
- With excellent writing skills, demonstrated experience in crafting media and corporate communications, event management and experience dealing with Ministerial requests for information, you'll have an ability to form strong, productive working relationships and won't be afraid to pitch in with your multi-disciplinary communications team when needed.
**About you**:
- You have an ability to obtain and maintain confidence and support of internal and external stakeholders and peers by ensuring the delivery of professional, contemporary, accurate and responsive communications and stakeholder engagement advice, strategy and recommendations.
- You are effective working in a high-pressure environment, under tight deadlines and within limited resources.
- You are comfortable in providing internal consultancy and communications advice to executive members and branches to ensure the consistency of key messages are produced and delivered in a format, style and tone appropriate to the situation and audience.
- You are experienced in developing corporate communications and engagement strategies to enhance and protect the reputation of the Department of Education and the Infrastructure Services Division with stakeholders and the public.

- Describe a project for which you have used your well-developed writing and editorial skills (research, interviewing, writing, editing and proofreading) to develop content for either internal or external communications and what mediums did you use and why?
