Principal Communications and Engagement Officer

About the role
As the Principal Communications and Engagement Officer, your role will be multi-faceted. This key role will challenge you to think creatively and strategically as you contribute to a variety of critical projects, ranging from community engagement campaigns and events, to policy advisory and digital enquiries. You'll design and implement communication strategies that influence key stakeholders and drive targeted education campaigns designed to engage and inform the public.
Alongside your day-to-day responsibilities, you may have opportunities to travel across Queensland, adding depth and variety to your work. You'll work closely with the Strategic Communications and Education Manager to mentor and develop the team, fostering an inclusive and high-performing environment. You'll play a key role in shaping the voice of the Queensland Public Trustee (QPT) and have the chance to lead campaigns that genuinely make a difference in the community.
