Established in 2017, M2P Engineering has become a leading provider of end-to-end engineering, construction, and maintenance services to a wide variety of clients within the minerals, mining, materials handling & water treatment sectors. M2P Engineering also manufactures and install our patented inflatable Minvent Products. These products are engineered and custom-made in-house and provide an innovative solution for overhead protection, underground mine ventilation control and sealing solutions.

We service projects nationwide from our branches located in NSW, WA & QLD with our head office based in Teneriffe, Brisbane.

**THE ROLE**

We are seeking an experienced Construction and Engineering Procurement / Supply Chain coordinator, to join us in our Salisbury office in Brisbane. Working closely with the commercial team you will support our workshops, along with major projects nationwide and smaller local projects. Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

- Converting requisitions to orders
- Expediting goods to sites including remote locations
- Collecting QA certificates from suppliers
- Identifying alternative suppliers and tendering/negotiating to ensure competitive pricing based on volume is achieved
- Closing out the PO’s for mismatches on invoices
- Assisting with the management of supplier issues whether it be quality or time related
- Creating and implementing suitable processes to effectively manage the equipment hire process end to end
- Championing our system of site based stores and tooling management
- Working in conjunction with materials and logistics and stores teams onsite, ensuring sufficient systems in place for effective communication

**ABOUT YOU**

To be considered for this role you will ideally have experience in the following areas:

- Establishing and implementing procedures and processes to streamline supply and procurement function
- Establishing stock inventory systems and integrating with procurement functions
- Managing and coordinating equipment hire requirements
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Have experience working in either a project-based or, deadline-driven environment
- Expediting goods.
- Be familiar with Engineering and Construction products, materials and consumables
- Be motivated and focused on supporting internal clients
- Have the ability to achieve tight deadlines and think outside the box to achieve business requirements
- Demonstrate exceptional people skills and the ability to get suppliers working for you
- Have great attention to detail
- Be autonomous, a natural problem solver who has the ability to think a few steps ahead through the process.
