**Position Summary**
The Financial Analyst - Supply Chain is responsible for providing financial services and support to the Supply Chain functions of the business, including product costing, management accounting, reporting, budgeting & forecasting activities, as well as providing valuable insights and analysis on the performance of the business.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Preparation of weekly reporting for Supply Chain, including production reports, preparation of packs for meetings and providing performance updates and insights.
- Preparation of monthly reporting and analysis for Supply Chain, including, Manufacturing P&Ls, Production Reports and SG&A cost analysis.
- Updating standard costings and maintenance for all inventories items in the system for all the entities.
- Management of standard costs, including analysis and investigation of manufacturing variances.
- Working with cross-functional teams to ensure seasonal products are costed correctly and set up in the various systems.
- Preparation of month end journals and accruals for manufacturing and supply chain functions.
- Analysis/reconciliation of labour usage and efficiency.
- Reconciliation of inventory on a monthly basis and assisting with periodic inventory counts.
- Provide ongoing analysis of performance against budgets and forecasts.
- Reconciliation of data between the ERP system and data warehouse/cubes.
- Assistance with the identification and implementation of process and system improvements.

**To be successful in this role you will have**:

- University Degree in Accountancy/Commerce or similar.
- 3+ years of experience within a similar role.
- Excellent analytical skills, ideally obtained/developed within a manufacturing environment.
- Standard Costing experience.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Understanding of ERP systems.
- The ability to work with cross functional departments explaining accounting/costing functions in an easy-to-understand language.
- Desirable - completion of or working towards a professional accounting qualification (eg CA, CPA).
