**Responsibilities**:

We have a fantastic opportunity for a highly experienced claims professional, with sound knowledge across strata, property and legal liability claims.

In this role, you will be responsible for directly supervising the activities of assigned claims team and provide advice to Claims Executives on general Company claims policy.

We envision the responsibilities of this position to include, but not be limited to:

- Reviewing and settling problematic claims
- Managing vendor relations to develop optimum case outcomes, cost performance and measurement criteria
- Supervising of the investigation and settlements of all claims within the Team
- Handling of complaints and investigations of suspicious/fraudulent insurance claims
- Developing and implementing claims management strategies and plans that reflect the Company’s overall business development and profit objectives
- Monitoring ongoing claims administration to ensure efficient and appropriate handling of claims
- Ensuring compliance of systems and processes with the relevant legislation

- Advanced skills in Microsoft excel
- Sound knowledge of claims administration procedures and related systems
- Minimum 5 years management experience preferably in claims management
- Strong knowledge of strata, property and legal liability claims
- Experience handling technical and complex claims
- Legal tertiary qualifications (highly regarded)
