We are looking to engage a skilled and enthusiastic **ICT Procurement and Contracts Manager **to join our Federal Government client

The ICT Procurement and Contracts Manager will provide specialist advice and manage the procurement and contract management of IT infrastructure, on premise software, software as service and professional services. This role will manage and implement complex ICT procurement and contract management including contract negotiation, performance management, vendor relationship management, contract governance and quality assurance.

In this position you will require highly developed communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate effectively and professionally with internal and external stakeholders and build effective relationships and networks. You will also be required to undertake analysis, preparation, and presentation of complex and technical documents from a range of contract and technical data sources.

This is your chance to make a difference for our Federal Government client in this **6 month contract **with **additional extensions **offered.

**Australian Citizens with the ability to obtain a Baseline security clearance **will be considered for this role.

**The experience and skills for this role are**:

- Certificate IV in Procurement and Contracting and/or a minimum of 5 years' experience in government contract management within an ICT environment.
- Extensive knowledge and experience in the management of performance-based ICT service contracts within a large organisation.
- Extensive knowledge and experience in analysing and reviewing contract performance in accordance with contractual obligations.
- Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate effectively and professionally with internal and external stakeholders and build effective relationships and networks.
- Extensive written and verbal communication skills with the ability to prepare and present complex and technical documents
- Project Management experience (Desirable)
