- 255594Our Federal Government Client is looking for an **ICT Procurement and Contract Manager** to work across several Sections to support the delivery of Sourcing Strategy and Procurement, Contract Management, Managed Services and Labour Hire.

**The key ICT Procurement and Contract Management responsibilities include**:

- ICT Procurement and advisory services
- Software sourcing and procurement and advisory services
- Software licencing, advisory and audit
- Contract management of telecommunication contracts
- Vendor Management
- Labour Hire services including invoice and purchase order management
- Managed services contract management
- Cloud services procurement and contract management

Provision of Specified Personnel on a time and materials basis in the following role**:_ICT Procurement & Contract Manager_**, to undertake tasks at **SFIA Level 6 **that include, but are not limited to, the following:

- Required to support the Assistant Secretary, in the Portfolio Management, Architecture and Commercial Services Branch deliver on semi-complex procurement, lead contract negotiations, and contract management.
- Assist in ensuring that the ITD commercial activities are managed in compliance with the legislation and policies including the Public Governance, Performance and Accountability Act and Commonwealth Procurement Rules;
- Research and prepare strategic advice, information and reports on the commercial arrangements managed by the team in order to facilitate informed decision making and planning
- Lead and contribute to projects to support the achievement of organisational level strategic and operational objectives;
- Develop and oversee the implementation and evaluation of administrative practices, systems and procedures to optimise efficiency and support the achievement of quality outcomes of the commercial arrangements
- As a strategic and operational point of contact, liaise with stakeholders and action requests;
- Track and report costs associated with contract budgets
- Develop and manage a wide range of procurement activities for the IT Division
- Support and provide input into the Departments IT strategy
- Provide procurement advice to various stakeholders
- Provide contract management and vendor management including across some MOU's
- Assist with the migration of procurements, contracts and MOUs into the Department from other Agencies/Departments under Machine of Government (MOG) activities
- Assist in negotiations with vendors and key stakeholders
- Seek, follow-up and finalise financial approvals through SAP
- Track and report costs associated with procurements and contract budgets
- Manage vendor relationships, and governance across procurements, contracts and MOUs

**Essential Criteria**:

- Proven experience in Procurement and Contract Management at SFIA level 4 or 6.
- Highly developed analytical, interpretive and problem-solving skills to form views, provide procurement advice and make effective evidence-based decisions;
- Work independently under broad direction and act collaboratively
