About the team and role

The Group’s aim is to create the most efficient and effective ways to deliver Financial Market and Treasury related services and enhance the level of control over the risks inherent in the operation of these services.

The Group Treasury Settlements (GTS) Officer role is responsible for the settlement and administration of the Bank’s Treasury and Financial Markets activities, requiring accuracy and an attention to detail.

An opportunity to build technical proficiency and understanding in Treasury and Financial Market activities - with exposure to a variety of complex products with competing deadlines, requiring prioritisation skills and an investigative and problem-solving approach.

Additionally, at sometimes early starts of 7.45am and later finish are required to meet the business obligations.

This small and highly experienced team are based in Adelaide. Due to the confidential and monitored nature of the roles, the team operate in a restricted glassed office.

Experience, capabilities and qualifications

Technical Knowledge

Knowledge of and interest in Money Market, Fixed Interest, Foreign Exchange, Wholesale and Domestic trading, derivative products and transactions.
Experience or an understanding of Australian treasury settlements processes and associated payment systems.
A good appreciation of the value of operational risk management and our policies and frameworks
