**Who we are**
The Trade Reform and Digital Trade Initiatives divisions have been established to develop and deliver the vision and strategy for agricultural exports, and to coordinate the range of the export business and digital reform programs that are currently underway. At the heart of this reform package is the modernisation of export systems by building Digital Services to Take Farmers to Markets.

**The Job**
The Delivery Manager is accountable for making sure the team is set up to deliver. They ensure team health and imbed positive ways of working. The Delivery Manager is responsible for supporting a culture of continuous improvements, ensuing foundations are in place to allow for regular ideation, delivery, and testing.

**What we are looking for**

**Knowledge and experience**
- An existing understanding, experience in or knowledge of the Delivery Manager role (highly desirable).
- Experience in building successful multi-disciplinary teams to deliver within a high-pressure environment (highly desirable).
- Proven ability to deliver fit for purpose digital solutions (highly desirable).
- An understanding of the exports process as it relates to the issuing of export documentation.

**Skills and capabilities**
- Ability to troubleshoot complex situations.
- Has sound judgement and the ability to work under limited supervision to produce high quality outcomes.
- Ability to set up testing, change and deployment processes that help the team to release frequently.
- Ensuring insights from users are regularly making their way into the planning cycle.
- Ability to quickly establish and maintain collaborative and productive working relationships.

**Eligibility and other requirements**
Citizenship - To be eligible for employment with the Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry you must be an Australian citizen.

Security Clearance - This position requires a Baseline Vetting security clearance. You will be required to obtain and maintain a clearance at this level.

Pre-employment Check - Your suitability for employment will be assessed through a pre-employment screening process. This process includes a requirement to undergo and satisfy a National Police Check, referee checks, character clearance and where required a pre-employment medical assessment, specified mandatory qualification(s) validation and a probation period of 6 months.

MSIC and ASIC Licences - If the position requires unescorted access within an aviation or maritime security zone, you will be required to obtain and maintain an Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC) or Maritime Security Identification Card (MSIC).
