We are seeking an experienced Delivery Manager to join a Federal Government client on a long-term engagement. This is a high-profile role within a major program, offering the opportunity to work alongside a strong delivery team and directly influence outcomes.

The client is looking to onboard multiple Delivery Managers across a range of initiatives. Specific engagements will be discussed with shortlisted candidates during the process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain delivery documentation, including timelines, budgets, and resourcing, aligned with objectives.
  • Identify and proactively manage risks with effective mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure delivery teams are equipped with the tools, resources, and support needed to succeed.
  • Monitor progress, escalate issues when required, and provide clear status reporting to stakeholders.
  • Act as the conduit between technical teams, programme/product management, and executive stakeholders.
  • Ensure deliverables meet quality standards, compliance requirements, and documentation obligations.
  • Build and sustain strong working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.

  • Proven experience delivering in an Agile environment.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills – able to quickly build trust, listen actively, and influence effectively.
  • Professional, collaborative, and adaptable style with strong communication skills across diverse audiences.
  • Highly organised and proactive, with the ability to take ownership of end-to-end delivery.
