Veriu Macquarie Park, our flagship 184-key apartment hotel, is opening soon, and we’re looking for a Super Host (Duty Manager) to lead the charge in creating unforgettable guest experiences. This is your chance to be at the heart of the action from day one, shaping our Front Office team and setting the standard for what exceptional service looks like.

As a Super Host, you’ll build a dynamic, cohesive team by training and managing our Local Hosts, ensuring that every guest interaction is seamless. You’ll anticipate needs, solve problems before they even arise, and go above and beyond to make sure guests leave with nothing but great memories. Your leadership will be key in crafting a front office culture that thrives on building genuine relationships and earning guest loyalty.

**Responsibilities**

Reporting to the Hotel General Manager, you’ll be part of a small team of genuine people, looking to create lasting memories and exceptional experiences for each and every guest. No day will be the same, but each day you’ll strive to:

- Oversee the front office inc. complaint escalation and problem-solving, team management and training, rostering & timesheet approvals
- Ensure the front office provides a high level of guest services to guests at check-in, check-out, and during stay
- Create new ways to leave guests with a lasting memorable experience
- Use your inquisitive nature to identify new sales leads, encouraging the team to do the same
- Manage emergency situations in a safe and professional matter
- Build strong and authentic relationships with your teammates and our guests
- Provide assistance in managing events/functions of the hotel
- Provide support and assistance to the General Manager in higher-level hotel management and admin tasks, in order to prepare yourself for a future Hotel Manager role
