ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

We are currently seeking an energetic and enthusiastic Sales Advisor  with experience with Souvenirs to join our Sydney Downtown Store located in Market St.

You will be working in customer centric environment with a friendly and diverse team.

YOUR DUTIES WILL INCLUDE

  • Engage customers with a friendly and approachable manner
  • Provide a high level of customer service
  • Promote benefits of products to generate sales and achieve set KPI's
  • Process sales via the cash register
  • Inform passengers of the conditions relating to their purchases e.g. customs requirements
  • Know and understand the product range
  • Be aware of, and adhere to, Airport security emergency and health and safety procedures

ABOUT YOU

  • Previous Retail/sales experience preferred
  • Cash handling in a fast-paced environment
  • Proven experience of operating a point of sale (POS) system
  • A reasonable level of physical fitness, as some manual handling/heavy lifting will be involved
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work well and effectively as part of a team and individually
  • Ability to speak fluent Mandarin (essential)

DETAILS OF THE ROLE

  • Location: Sydney Downtown Store - Market St.
  • Full time position - 76 hours per fortnight
  • 2 weeks rotating roster and availability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and public holidays

It is essential to have your own form of reliable transport due to the early/late hours of work.

To apply for this role you must be 18years old with Full Time Working Rights in Australia. 

Unfortunately we are not able to accept Student Visa or Working Holiday Visa applications.

To work with Lotte Duty Free, you must hold a current Australian or International Passport.

Please note that all Lotte Duty Free employees are required to have Customs and Police Clearance process.
