**Administration Team Coordinator - Allergy and Immunology Department**:

**About the Role**:
This is a permanent full time position within the Department of Allergy and Immunology.
You will be responsible for supporting the department of Allergy and Immunology by taking a key role in leading the operations, administration, and financial management functions. You will provide practical and sustainable solutions to ensure the department operates in a cost-effective and efficient manner. You will work with the Director to deliver reporting and analysis of department operations and project benefits.
**What you’ll achieve**:
- Lead and manage the administrative team
- Foster collaborative and mutually supportive relationships with internal (People & Culture, Procurement, Finance, Communications, Information Technology etc.) and external stakeholders
- Actively contribute to the strategic and operational planning of the department
- Manage the operational, administrative, and financial activities of Allergy and Immunology, developing and promoting efficient workflows and processes to support service delivery
- Provide direct line management and support of the Allergy and Immunology administration team members
Classification for this position will range from A051 - A055
**Your skills and experience**:
- Demonstrated experience in providing high level operational, financial or administrative support to key stakeholders
- Proven leadership experience in a small to medium sized team environment and the ability to work well as a senior team member
- Experience in developing and maintaining strong engagement with internal and external stakeholders in a complex multi-organisation environment.

**About the Allergy and Immunology Department**:
The Department of Allergy and Immunology delivers the highest quality clinical care to children and families with allergic and immune disorders and plays a vital role in increasing awareness, understanding and knowledge of allergic and immune disorders in the community and health professionals through education, teaching and training. We play a leadership role in the development and improvement of health care policies and guidelines related to allergic and immune disorders, and also actively identify and pursue research priorities to prevent and improve management of these conditions.
