Our client is looking for a Purchasing & Warehouse Officer who will be responsible for the management of warehouse distribution. Responsibilities will include, purchasing and inventory of supply contracts.

**Reporting to the Purchasing & Warehouse Supervisor, your key duties are**:

- Purchasing and distribution of goods and services in accordance with supply policies and procedures.
- Coordination and control of all warehouse assets and equipment.
- Assist the Warehouse Supervisor with the annual stocktake.
- Liaise with supplier sales representatives.
- Arrange for servicing and maintenance of equipment and plant.
- Expediate purchase orders for stock items and direct supply, ensuring the end user is notified of the delivery and availability dates.

**You will need these Skills and experience**:

- Demonstrated experience with warehouse management responsibilities relating to materials management.
- Demonstrated experience with computerised supply systems in relation to procurement, contract and materials management.
- Well-developed verbal and written communication skills.
- Well-developed customer and quality service focus.
- Demonstrated ability to work safely within a team environment or independently with minimum supervision.
- Current “LF” Class Forklift Operators licence.
- Experience with Oracle would be highly desirable.
