Easy Authoring is seeking an experienced Strategy Manager responsible for leading and managing a team in the development and delivery of strategy and advice aligned.

**Purpose of the role**:
Strategy Manager is responsible for leading and managing a team in the development and delivery of strategy and advice aligned with best practice disaster management and community resilience.

**Key Accountabilities**:

- Develop, report on and embed Agency Strategy so the agency context, vision and strategic framework is integral to work and outcomes.
- Lead and facilitate engagement and negotiation on strategic issues to identify and develop evidence-based advice and solutions.
- Lead the development and coordination of reports, briefs and correspondence to inform or respond to Agency
- Oversee a program of research and development into emerging issues to ensure strategy is forward thinking and innovative
- identify interdependencies and balance competing demands to ensure strategic and operational policy objectives are achieved

**Essential requirements**:

- Proven experience in a similar strategic leadership and strategy development role
- Tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience in a relevant field
- An ability and willingness to travel within NSW North Coast and support other operational roles during disasters, emergencies, and other events, consistent with skills, background and personal circumstances.
- Prior Government experience would be highly regarded
