**About our Client**
Gybe Consulting are partnering with a market-leading organisation in passive fire and thermal protection.
Their products are derived from a 150 year heritage in manufacturing high performance technical têxtiles that perform life-protecting roles in both the built environment and personal protection.
The Technical Specifications Manager is a business critical role, providing support to the Technical Manager and key stakeholders regarding compliance, testing, R&D and technical issues.
**Role Responsibilities**
- Deal with internal and external technical enquiries
- Assist customers and team with customer specific projects and attend sites when necessary
- Compile customer specifications and reports
- Work closely with Fire Engineers, Specifiers, Architects and other stakeholders to promote the specification and use of products.
- Responsible for the accuracy and production of technical data sheets and installation guides
- Deliver training to key stakeholders
- Work closely with the Technical Manager to ensure data is relevant, accurate and meets requirements
- Assist the Technical Manger with fire testing
- Obtain market intelligence for R & D and Marketing purposes
- Provide key stakeholders with updated technical information
- Assist with marketing activities that raise the profile of products
**Personal Attributes**
- Comprehensive knowledge of current fire safety legislation, Standards, ABCB/NCC and associated guidance documents.
- Ability to read architectural or CAD drawing.
- Computer literate (MS Office, PowerPoint, Excel & Word)
- Experience liaising with all industries associated with passive fire protection
- Experience in conducting training sessions and public presentations
- Experience in preparing Site Reports.
- Experienced in Passive Fire Protection products systems and installation methodologies.
- Communication: the ability to communicate clearly and concisely, varying communication style depending upon the audience both internally and externally.
- Excellent written skills when communicating with others, both internally and externally.
- Teamwork: willingness to assist and support others as required and get on with team members.
- Time management/organisation: accomplish objectives effectively within time frame given, and carry out administrative duties within portfolio in an efficient and timely manner.
- Ability to work under pressure.
