**About the Company**
Our client is a large government organisation, who work across Queensland to provide services to their customers within the transport, construction, and infrastructure industry. They are dedicated to providing excellent customer service, as well as empowering their people to be the best that they can.

**About the Role**
As part of the Project Planning Team, you will be responsible for leading the Technical Studies contract. You will provide studies on specific areas including geotechnical, hydraulics, traffic, pavement, road design, light rail design, public transport network, sustainability, and environment.

**Responsibilities**
- Provide input and direction to the technical studies consultant which is likely to involve complex and technical engineering issues.
- Coordinate reviews with the project team, including funding partners and Subject Matter Experts.
- Produce and contribute to project reports and briefs to advise and provide options for strategic decisions.

**Skills and Experience required**
- Experience in the design management of public transport, or major projects.
- Demonstrated experience in major projects within large government agencies that involve complex and technical engineering issues.
- Experience in light rail and/or similar multi-model projects would be of benefit.
