Role: Technical Quality Engineering Manager
Location: Melbourne
**Job Summary**:
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and Implement Testing Standards: Establish and enforce comprehensive testing standards and processes across all stages of the product lifecycle.
- Automation Strategy: Design and implement automation frameworks to enhance testing efficiency and coverage.
- End-to-End Testing: Oversee the planning and execution of end-to-end testing to ensure seamless integration and functionality of all systems.
- Delivery Governance: Implement strong delivery governance practices to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and meet quality standards.
- SLA/KPI Management: Monitor and manage service level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure targets are met or exceeded.
- Customer Interaction: Act as a key point of contact for customers, addressing their quality concerns and ensuring their requirements are met.
- Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to align quality objectives with business goals.
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of quality engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
- Quality Audits: Conduct regular audits to identify areas of non-compliance and potential improvements.
- Vendor and Customer Interaction: Collaborate with vendors and customers to ensure quality standards are met throughout the supply chain.
- Problem Resolution: Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve production and manufacturing issues.
- Compliance: Ensure all processes comply with industry and government regulations.
- Reporting: Generate and present regular reports on quality metrics and standards.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 15 years in quality engineering
- Skills:
- Strong understanding of quality assurance methodologies and tools.
- Proficiency in automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG).
- Experience with end-to-end testing processes and tools.
- Strong delivery governance skills.
- Experience in managing SLAs and KPIs.
- Excellent customer-facing and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of industry standards and regulations.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in the retail industry.
- Certifications such as Six Sigma, PMP, or ASQ.
- Familiarity with Agile and DevOps practices.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $140,000.00 - $145,046.03 per year
