Quality Engineer – k6, Playwright & Automation

About the Role

CloudMarc is seeking a talented
Quality Engineer
with strong performance testing expertise in
k6
, hands-on
Playwright
automation experience, and a solid automation engineering background. This role blends performance and functional testing, ensuring our clients' systems are robust, scalable, and high-performing.

You'll work closely with developers, DevOps engineers, and QA specialists, applying a
Quality Engineering mindset
to deliver exceptional results across complex projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and execute performance testing using
    k6
    with JavaScript.
  • Design, build, and maintain
    Playwright
    automation scripts (TypeScript/JavaScript) for UI testing, including cross-browser coverage.
  • Perform
    API testing
    using Postman and/or Playwright's request API, integrating results into performance and quality reports.
  • Collaborate with QA, DevOps, and development teams to identify and resolve bottlenecks.
  • Use
    Git
    for version control and manage automation assets.
  • Integrate both performance and functional test suites into
    CI/CD pipelines
    .

Key Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience in
    k6
    performance testing.
  • Strong
    Playwright
    automation experience (TypeScript/JavaScript).
  • Solid JavaScript/TypeScript programming skills.
  • Experience in
    API testing
    (Postman or equivalent).
  • Proficiency with
    Git
    and modern automation frameworks.
  • Understanding of
    shift-left testing
    principles and CI/CD integration.
  • Excellent communication skills and a proactive, problem-solving approach.
