Export Operations Officer

Great opportunity for an Export Operations Officer to join a growing organisation with a view for career progression.
**The Company**
This company is a speclilised logistics company from consultancy, fleet management and transport to special equipment and on-site solutions.
**The Role**
The key responsibilities include the following:
- Job registration
- Sending out of booking confirmations to customers same day as the booking is made
- Sending out of export release details at the earliest possible time
- Confirming rates with shipping lines when required
- Booking and co-ordination of transport and loading when required
- Accurate completion of export documentation including our invoices
- Settlement of all shipping line invoices related to Export shipments
- Collection of all outstanding charges from the shipper prior to release of documentation
- Approval of all creditor invoices
- Ensure that jobs registered are for approved customers only
- Completion of relevant report, accurately and timely
- Attend to any new queries or requests raised by customers in a timely manner
- Perform other reasonable duties, from time to time as directed
- Should there be any problems arise with your duties, you must be pro-active and consult with your manager in timely manner
**Your Profile**
- You will have exceptional customer service skills
- You will have the ability to work autonomously and manage time effectively
- You will have attention to detail
- For an experienced applicant you must have experience within Cargowise, Freight Forwarding and Export Operations
**This position is open to entry level applicants with the desire to grow and specilise within this industry.**
