We are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic Import Export Operator to join a fun, and quickly expanding team located in South Melbourne. You will be working alongside a supportive team to coordinate and manage the end-to-end import and export process for air and sea freight shipments for our key stakeholders.

**ABOUT THE ROLE**:

- Coordinate and manage the end-to-end import and export process for air and sea freight shipments.
- Manage warehouse allocation.
- Liaise with stakeholders, internal and external.
- Monitor Allocation and Load Status.
- Respond promptly to customer queries and requests.
- Maintain and regularly monitor documentation, databases and software - Cargowise.

**ABOUT YOU**:

- Experience within the freight forwarding industry, import and export (air and sea freight).
- Experience in working in a customer-centric, time-pressured environment.
- Intermediate Microsoft office experience including Excel.
- Experience with Cargowise software.
- Experience with ICS software.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organisational skills.
- High attention to detail.
- Understanding of freight operations.
- Good problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
