**Position overview**

The Victorian Building Authority (VBA) is seeking a passionate and dynamic Gender Equity & Belonging Partner to drive meaningful change and foster an inclusive workplace culture. This role will lead the delivery of key initiatives, including the implementation of the Gender Equality Action Plan and enterprise-wide diversity programs. As part of the People Experience & Capability team, the position offers an opportunity to collaborate with stakeholders and thought leaders, supporting VBA's transformation to the Building and Plumbing Commission (BPC) later this year. This is an exciting role for a passionate professional committed to equity, belonging and continuous improvement.

Reporting to the Head of People Experience & Capability, this newly refined role forms part of the wider People Experience & Capability team, a specialist team, who are responsible for the design and delivery of best practice and leading-edge employee experience initiatives at the enterprise-wide level.

**Who we are looking for**
- Strong knowledge of gender equality including knowledge of Victorian policy and legislation to advance gender equality.
- Demonstrated experience working across areas of Diversity and Inclusion including strategy and, program of work development and implementation.
- Strong written and communication skills.
- Ability to partner with various stakeholder groups in all areas of the organisation.
- Experience in project management and delivery, including the ability to deliver more than one initiative at a time.
