**About the Role**
Swinburne University of Technology is seeking a Team Leader, Student Equity to lead the development, delivery, and evaluation of diversity and inclusion services for our students across TAFE and Higher Education.

Reporting to the Manager, Student AccessAbility and Equity, you will develop programs, policies, and strategic advice aimed at improving access, participation, and success for students from under-represented communities. You will promote inclusive practices across the university and work closely with both internal and external stakeholders to achieve positive outcomes.

This role requires strong leadership, a deep understanding of equity issues in education, and familiarity with State and Federal Government policies and funding initiatives. You will also represent Swinburne in relevant forums and contribute to sector-wide equity efforts.

**About You**
**To be suitable for this role you will need to have experience in the below key accountabilities**:

- Demonstrated understanding of issues affecting access and participation in higher education for under-represented groups and experience implementing diversity and inclusion programs
- Experience in leading, managing and motivating a team to achieve student outcomes
- Proven extensive expertise in the development, implementation and evaluation of institution-wide programs
- Demonstrated creative planning, analytical and problem-solving skills

**Qualifications**
- Postgraduate qualifications or progress towards postgraduate qualifications and extensive relevant experience; or
- extensive experience and management expertise; or
- an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training
