Overview Exciting Opportunity for an experienced Manager, Diversity, Equity & Inclusion to join Swinburne University of Technology. Ongoing / full-time position at our Hawthorn campus. We’re looking for a dynamic Manager, Diversity, Equity & Inclusion to champion our mission of creating a truly inclusive university community. In this role, you’ll partner with an engaged Executive and leadership group and a People and Culture team to design, implement, and evaluate bold, university-wide DEI strategies that make a lasting impact. You’ll drive embedding inclusion into every corner of our organization and empower our leaders to make DEI part of strategic and operational plans. You’ll collaborate with senior leaders, the people and culture team, staff networks, and external partners to turn strategy into action and action into measurable results. About You To be suitable for this role you will need to have experience in the below key accountabilities: - Demonstrated experience in leading organisation-wide diversity, equity, and inclusion programs. - Deep knowledge of legislative frameworks, sector benchmarks, and best practice in diversity, equity, and inclusion. - Experience in designing and delivering DEI plans and reporting to meet regulators obligations and foster cultural change. - Experience with sector accreditation frameworks (e.g., SAGE Athena Swan, RAP, AWEI). - Lived experience or demonstrated commitment to advancing equity for marginalised groups. Qualifications Relevant tertiary qualification and/or equivalent experience in diversity, equity, and inclusion, organisational development, or related field.
