About the role
The Allied Health Manager oversees the effective delivery of comprehensive Allied Health services across both the Calvary Launceston Hospital Campuses for the disciplines of Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Dietetics, Speech Pathology & Social Work. The Allied Health Manager works across both acute care and rehabilitation clinical streams and provides operational leadership across all Allied Health disciplines and for Allied Health Assistant staff.
Key Responsibilities
Consistently and enthusiastically deliver high levels of patient service to exceed patient expectations
Effectively lead, mentor and coach staff to increase capability and engagement across multi-disciplinary departments
Manage change and business complexity by identifying and managing emerging challenges and opportunities
Develop policies and procedures for the Allied Health services and ensures they are maintained, reviewed and updated as required
Mange all Allied Health operational management responsibilities including the review and development of the Allied Health Service
What you bring
Relevant tertiary qualification entitling AHPRA registration or eligibility for credentialing with the appropriate professional body as an Allied Health Professional
Previous experience in a senior practitioner role and/or leadership/management position
Proven ability to prioritise work, meet deadlines and to delegate appropriately
Proven ability to plan, develop, implement and evaluate a Quality Improvement Process
Superior patient care skills with the ability to mentor others
A desire to join a team committed to the care of others in a mission based organisation
