The Team: Join the Older Persons Mental Health Service (OPMHS), a dynamic, community-based team located in beautiful Launceston, Tasmania. Our multidisciplinary team delivers compassionate, person-centred mental health care through both in-community and outreach services. We work closely with individuals, their families, and both formal and informal support networks to help older people live their best lives. You will need: - A minimum of two years post graduate employment in a clinical area directly applicable to the Child and Adolescent, Adult Community, Inpatient and Extended Treatment and Older Persons Mental Health Service area. - Demonstrated clinical knowledge and understanding of mental health in relation to the Child and Adolescent, Adult Community, Inpatient and Extended Treatment and Older Persons Mental Health Service area with the ability to provide appropriate assessment of mental health problems. - Demonstrated expertise in the theoretical and practical application of a range of therapeutic interventions relevant to the Child and Adolescent, Adult Community and Older Persons Mental Health Service area with the ability to acquire further expertise into the future. Details of appointment: Permanent part-time, day worker position, working 38 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible. Notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant. Salary: $110,425 to $121,907 per annum (Pro rata). Our Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount. - Salary range is in accordance with Allied Health Professionals Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement No. 2 of 2022. Please note that access to salaries beyond $119,290 is subject to qualifications and/or application to the personal upgrade scheme. In addition, the following allowances calculated on the salaried incremental point may be available: - Professional Development Allowance of up to $1000 per annum.
