Help Us Help More Tasmanians Find Their Meaningful Life

True North Allied Health is a wife-and-husband-owned, client-focused allied health practice. We're built on lived experience, purpose, and personal values. We empower both our clients and team members to navigate their meaningful lives and stay on the right path.

The Position

We're looking for an Occupational Therapist who's excited about joining a growing private practice. You'll have the opportunity to play a key role in shaping the future of our services. This position offers flexibility, autonomy, and the opportunity to work closely with our founders, Amie and Warrick.

Your role will involve:

  • Providing high-quality, client-centered occupational therapy services.
  • Managing a diverse client list including NDIS, CTP, SAH and other streams, handpicked to support your professional growth and interests.
  • Collaborating with Amie, a highly experienced and accomplished OT, to refine clinical processes and develop best practices.
  • Engaging in ongoing mentorship and supervision to enhance your skills and confidence.
  • Leveraging technology to "break up with admin" allowing you to focus on client care.

We welcome applications from OTs with a range of experience in any specialty area, particularly those looking to transition into private practice or seeking greater work-life balance and meaning.

Whether you're a recent graduate or a veteran of the modality, True North wants to have a conversation

The Organisation

At True North Allied Health, we believe in empowering individuals—both our team and clients—to navigate their unique journeys and live with dignity and fulfillment. Our vision is a Tasmania where everyone has the support and resources to pursue the path to a meaningful life.

We achieve this by following our guiding principles of connection, purpose, contribution, occupational engagement, and personal and professional growth. Our values—harmony, communication, contribution, personal responsibility, and fun—shape how we work together and with our clients.

Founded by Amie and Warrick, True North Allied Health is a family-owned, client-focused practice built on passion and lived experience. Amie, an accomplished OT with a diverse background in mental health, rehabilitation, and public health, is an experienced mentor dedicated to helping clinicians grow. Warrick, a cardiac arrest survivor and highly regarded former business coach and mentor, brings a fresh perspective to support both team members and clients.
