**About the opportunity**

Calling all night owls We’re looking for a **Freight Handler** to join our diverse and hard-working and friendly team night shift team at our Boud Ave, Perth Airport based StarTrack Facility. With e-commerce booming, our freight handlers are the folks making sure consignments are correctly loaded so we can get deliveries out to our customers, fast.

This is a full time permanent opportunity working from 11pm-6.36am Sun-Fri nights with flexibility to work overtime if required. This role pays $30.54 p/h plus 12% super and a 30% added penalty rate along with a $50/week location allowance. **You’ll be**
- Using your strong work ethic to help us keep delivering great service
- Handloading parcels and cartons from conveyor belts into trucks, ready for our drivers to head out on the road
- Unloading trucks when drivers get back to the warehouse
- Wrapping freight by hand or using a shrink wrapper (you know - like the ones at the airport), electronically scanning parcels and updating documentation.

**About you**
- You’re fit and can lift at least 30kg repeatedly - we assess this at a pre-employment medical check to help make sure you’re safe on the job
- You’re laser focused, even when the role gets repetitive
- You’re a team player, passionate about helping our team keep the community connected
- You’re also an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
- If you’ve got a forklift licence that’s a plus, since this comes handy moving freight around the warehouse
- You've worked night shift previously and love the life balance
